Southern Oregon FBO Wins 2008 FBO of the Year
December 2008 MEDFORD, OR - Joe Keith, president of Million Air Medford, recently announced that the two-year-old Southern Oregon franchise earned the title of Million Air 2008 FBO of the Year. This award was presented by Million Air President Roger Woolsey who honored the Medford franchise for its outstanding safety audits, increased fuel volume, and implementation and utilization of Million Air programs. Million Air's annual award is also based on the results of a best practices survey, along with a low number of accidents and incidents, including workers compensation claims.
Million Air Medford opened its doors in January of 2007, vowing to serve the general aviation community with the "Ultimate VIP Experience." Keith said the FBO complemented our corporate commitment to excellence.
"We are thrilled to be counted among the best of the best. Our customer service representatives and line service professionals raised the bar to stand out from all the others in the Million Air franchise. It's a great honor and we'll continue doing our best to enhance the aviation experience of business and luxury travelers."
The Million Air franchise of fixed-base operations provides upscale, private aviation services, including fueling, aircraft maintenance and pilot services. It is one of the largest aviation service companies in the world with headquarters in Houston, Texas, and a network of over 24 facilities in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.
According to Keith, Million Air Medford caters to both passengers and pilots. Services include a lounge, theater, shower and restrooms, flight planning room, refreshment kiosk, faxes and Internet, along with other amenities and concierge services. "We make everyone's stopover at Medford Million Air a "WOW" experience," said Keith.
